Resumo

Dedicado a Bandas Marciais, Fanfarras e Bandas de Música do Município de Rio Tinto – PB, o presente trabalho parte da interlocução com um músico dessa cena musical da cidade, em um intento que exigiu um aporte teórico interdisciplinar: começando pelas imagens, através da Antropologia Fílmica de Claudine de France; em seguida, com a Música e a Arte, apresentando outras implicações relativas ao conhecimento da sociedade e das culturas, assentado nos estudos de performance de Richard Schechner; e por fim, fundamentado nos estudos sobre Memória, incluindo ainda os estudos de Histórias de Vida e Etnobiografia. Os objetivos residiram, em suma, em discorrer sobre a importância dessa cena musical no contexto do desfile Cívico, sobre o que essas bandas significam e transmitem da e para a sociedade, as relações que constituem, os espaços que se utilizam e as mudanças que se operam e anunciam por elas. Igualmente, a metodologia entrecruzou aspectos de outras, dentre as quais se destacam a observação participante, a observação diferida, a metodologia exploratória em Antropologia Visual e a história oral. Com resultados desde a obtenção de materiais audiovisuais e fotografias de performances musicais, destacando-se os desfiles cívicos de Primeiro e Sete de Setembro da cidade, bem como transcrições de áudio de duas entrevistas de áudio-vídeo-elicitação, retornado ao interlocutor, e finalmente, um trabalho escrito e audiovisual finais, orientados a um conhecimento e análise desse universo a mim apresentado da forma mais acurada e ética possível.

Abstract

Dedicated to Marching Bands, Fanfares and Brass Bands of the County of Rio Tinto – PB, the present work starts of the interlocution with a musician of this musical scene of the town, in an intent who demanded an interdisciplinary theoretical framework: starting out by images, across the Filmic Anthropology of Claudine de France; in followed, with the Music and Art, presenting other implications relative to the society and cultures knowledge, seated on performance studies by Richard Schechner; and lastly, grounded on studies memories, further including the studies of Life History and Etnobiography.  The objectives resided, in short, in expatiate about the importance of this musical scene in the context of the civic parade, about what these bands means and transmit from and to society, the relationships that constitute, the spaces that used itself and the changes that operate itself and advertise for them. Equally, the metodology crisscrossed aspects of others, among which stand out the Participant Observation, the Deferred Observation, the exploratory methodology in Visual Anthropology and the Oral History. With results since getting audiovisual materials and photographs of musical performances, highlighting itself the civic parades of First and Seventh of September of the town, well as audio transcripts of two audio-video elicitation interviews, returned to the interlocutor, and finally, a final written work and audiovisual, oriented to a knowledge and analysis of this universe for me presented in the more accurate and ethical way possible.
